Job summary

OnHires is seeking a regulatory compliance expert to own the e-money and payments regulatory pipeline across EMI/PSD2 in the EU and UK. You will draft governance, safeguarding, and internal control system narratives for authorisation filings and maintain ongoing regulatory dialogue.

You will collaborate with the Global Chief of Compliance, handling gap analyses, remediation plans, and regulator communications, while ensuring evidence-backed controls and post-authorisation obligations are met in

Qualifications

• 5+ years in regulatory compliance (authorisation, licensing, policy and governance drafting)
• Experience drafting governance/ICS narratives, policies or safeguarding documentation for an authorisation file
• Working knowledge of EMD2/PSD2 and the UK e-money and payments regime
• Working knowledge of DORA, AMLD/FATF standards, sanctions, outsourcing and governance requirements
• Fluent professional English with excellent written drafting

Responsibilities

• Draft governance and internal control system narratives, policies and procedures for authorisation files
• Produce safeguarding framework descriptions with method, reconciliation and evidence
• Analyse regulatory gaps and prepare responses to regulators
• Oversee post-authorisation implementation of the EU PSD2 licence and obligations
• Assess regulatory impact on payment products, flows, agents and outsourcing
• Collaborate with Global Chief of Compliance and senior leadership
