Job summary

Radiology Partners seeks a Full-Time Remote Emergency Radiologist to support our growing practice. The ideal candidate will read a broad spectrum of diagnostic imaging in a 100% remote ER setting with shifts from 2pm CST to 11pm CST or 3pm CST to 12am CST.

ER radiology experience is preferred. Board certification/eligibility in radiology and licensure in IL/IN/MO are required, with potential for partnership upon start date and a comprehensive benefits package including malpractice insurance and

• Board certified or board eligible by the American Board of Radiology or the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology.
• Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy with radiology residency training.
• Fellowship in Emergency Radiology is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Interpret 100% emergency radiology studies.
• Remote 100% schedule: 7on/7off; shifts 2pm–11pm CST or 3pm–12am CST.
• No mammography or PET CTs; ability to read variety of modalities.
• Collaborate with referring physicians and support staff.

Education

MD/DO degree and radiology residency

Job description

Saline Valley Diagnostic Radiology (SVDR) has served the Southern Illinois Community for over 40 years providing diagnostic services to 14 Illinois hospitals, as well as many affiliated clinics and express care centers.

SVDR is seeking a Full-Time Remote Emergency Radiologist to support our growing practice. Experience in ER is preferred. The ideal candidate must be capable of reading a broad spectrum of diagnostic imaging and maintain a desire to work in a collaborative environment with local referring physicians.

POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Schedule: 100% Remote 7on|7off (26 weeks)
• Shift: 2pm CST-11pm CST or 3pm CST-12pm CST
• 100% Emergency Radiology
• No Call
• Must be capable of reading various diagnostic modalities
• NO Mammography or PET CTs/Specialty reading required

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Board certified or Board Eligible by American Board of Radiology or the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology
• Candidates must be a Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy, and residency trained in the practice of Diagnostic Radiology
• Fellowship training in Emergency Radiology is preferred, but not required
• Ability to obtain an Illinois, Indiana & Missouri license is required

LOCAL PRACTICE OVERVIEW

SVDR operates with an internal 24/7 Results Communication Center support team (CORE = Center of Radiology Excellence) to coordinate care and clinical contact. This clinical team is an extension of our Radiologists, which helps in reducing day-to-day administrative minutiae. The Advisory Board Company and the American College of Radiology have both recognized this as an innovative customer service function. SVDR continually reviews and improves their radiology service through new clinical initiatives, research, artificial intelligence and best practices that provide proven value to patients and payors.

COMPENSATION:

The salary range for this position is $500,000-$525,000. Final determinations may vary based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, geographic location etc. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
