Job summary

Belcan Corporation seeks a REMOTE Embedded System Security Engineer to support cyber-physical security for aerospace engine controllers. This full-time role requires a BS in Cybersecurity or a STEM field and 6+ years of relevant experience.

You will apply RMF, NIST SP 800-160, DO-326/DO-355, review designs, and drive best practices with cross-functional teams. Travel up to 25% and US citizenship are required.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, STEM, or related discipline with 6+ years of experience, or Master’s with 4+ years.
• Knowledge of embedded systems and secure design practices.
• Experience applying RMF, NIST SP 800-160, DO-326/DO-355 guidance.

Responsibilities

• Determine tech and processes to meet system security requirements.
• Support secure cyber-resilient system implementation for programs.
• Review designs to close security-related gaps and meet contract needs.
• Promote Product Security best practices to product/design teams.
• Coordinate with security capability teams to improve methods and tools.
• Engage with customers and suppliers to strengthen security capabilities.
