Responsibilities

• Coordinate language proficiency screenings and testing as mandated in Michigan.
• Ensure adherence to state timelines for Beginning/Middle/End of Year tasks.
• Attend local/state professional development trainings related to ELL.
• Collaborate with students, Learning Coaches, and teachers to support learning.
• Review curriculum and adapt teaching methods to improve understanding.
• Communicate regularly with parents and students to develop ELL Plans.
