Job summary

Philadelphia Insurance Companies, a Tokio Marine Group member, is seeking an Underwriting Audit Specialist to join our Compliance team with Nationwide consideration. You will perform property and casualty policy audits to ensure compliance with state regulations and internal guidelines.

A typical day includes auditing new and renewal policies, analyzing data, and collaborating with Underwriting management to implement improvements, with a hybrid work model offering flexibility and remote

Qualifications

• 3+ years underwriting experience with a commercial carrier.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Knowledge of state insurance laws and regulations.
• Ability to gather and interpret information to develop, recommend and implement solutions.
• Detail oriented with excellent organizational and planning skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Audit new and renewal property and casualty policies.
• Assess risk selection, adherence to underwriting guidelines, rating accuracy, data integrity and regulatory compliance.
• Compile and distribute audit results and review with Underwriting management.
• Data analysis to identify causal factors and develop action plans for the business unit.
• Collaborate with Underwriting management to implement recommendations and train staff.
• Develop training materials and conduct training.
