Job summary

Regal Rexnord seeks a Field Service Wind Turbine Technician capable of extensive travel to customer wind farms across North America. The role involves independent work, strong communication, and solid organization in servicing wind turbines and providing aftermarket support.

The ideal candidate has a technical background in wind turbine service, is comfortable climbing turbines up to 300 feet, and holds GWO certifications or is pursuing them.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• GWO certification highly preferred.
• 1–2 years of relevant wind industry experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Travel up to 100% to wind farms across the US, possibly Mexico and Canada.
• Climb wind turbines up to 300 feet to perform diagnostics and maintenance.
• Provide hands-on service and aftermarket support for customers in North America.
• Prepare detailed reports, checklists and hazard analyses.
• Maintain required training certifications (Fall Protection/Rescue, LOTO, First Aid/CPR/AED, etc.).
• Deliver exceptional customer experience and follow work procedures for wind turbine maintenance.
