Qualifications

• Must pass our Craftsman test.
• ASME certifications required and maintained.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpretations with little supervision.
• Knowledge of metal properties, heat effects, and welding techniques.

Responsibilities

• Perform difficult welding operations in all positions, including layout and fit up.
• Shape or form metal to fabricate complex parts using various equipment.
• Set up or assist lower classifications in setting up machines.
• Operate mobile crane and direct rigging/hoisting of equipment.
• Finish grinding with attention to abrasive type and specifications.
• Guide and train other employees to improve skills.
