Job summary

SGCPower in Houston seeks a Senior Project Manager to oversee non-technical aspects of power projects, including costs, schedule, billing, and closeout. You will work with stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within budget, lead cross-functional teams, and drive process improvement while maintaining strong client relationships.

A Bachelor’s in a business discipline with 10+ years in power engineering PM is required; PMP is preferred; remote within the US.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a business-related discipline with at least 10 years in power engineering design and PM.
Electric Utility project experience required.
PMP certification preferred.
Strong knowledge of power industry and project profitability.
Proficiency with MS Office and project management software.

Responsibilities

Understand project requirements and assign roles to match scope, schedule, and budget.
Collaborate with leadership to allocate team members per project needs.
Manage scope, costs, schedule, and client communications.
Oversee contracts, invoices, and profitability reporting.
Prepare project plans, meetings, and progress updates.
Maintain stakeholder relationships and support business development.
Ensure compliance with safety policies and processes.
Travel and extended hours as needed.
