Job summary

Allstate is seeking a hands-on Full Stack Developer to design, develop, and support enterprise applications and integrations across backend, frontend UI, and chatbot interfaces. The role emphasizes secure, scalable solutions in a large-scale enterprise with governance and security standards.

Responsibilities include building features with React, Java/Spring Boot, Python, crafting secure APIs and microservices, and contributing to CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional experience in full-stack development.
• Strong hands-on expertise in React with TypeScript/JavaScript (modern UI development) and Java/Spring Boot/Python (backend APIs, microservices).
• Hands-on experience building chatbot UI features in production.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and cloud-native principles.
• Experience with Docker & Kubernetes.
• Relational and/or NoSQL databases (MS SQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, DocumentDB).
• RESTful API design and integration.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy full-stack features with React, Java/Spring Boot, and Python.
• Develop and maintain secure, scalable RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Build and enhance chatbot UIs and conversational flows in React.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Collaborate with product owners and engineers in an Agile environment.
• Ensure code quality with unit/integration tests and reviews.
