Parnall Law Firm is seeking a Research & Writing Attorney in Albuquerque, NM. This role focuses on legal analysis and drafting to support trial attorneys across personal injury matters. The position welcomes remote eligibility and offers a structured, team-based environment with emphasis on research quality and timely delivery.

You will draft motions and briefs, monitor case developments, and collaborate with multiple case teams to maximize client recovery while upholding firm standards.

Qualifications

• Active NM license or eligibility for admission.
• Strong research, analysis and writing skills; translate research into persuasive drafts.
• Experience drafting motions, briefs, memoranda, and other litigation documents.
• Personal injury or civil litigation experience preferred; insurance defense or appellate background a plus.
• Ability to collaborate with trial attorneys and manage competing deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research on New Mexico liability, damages, and procedural issues.
• Draft motions, responses, briefs and memoranda for pre-litigation and litigation teams.
• Provide research support for settlement negotiations, mediation, and trial preparation.
• Collaborate with trial attorneys and Team Leads to identify issues and strengthen positions.
• Deliver timely, well-supported written work that meets firm standards.
