Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in human ecology, business, finance, communications, marketing or related field required.
• FINRA Series 6 and Series 63 licenses required; Series 63 within 120 days of start.
• Three years of sales experience in a financial services environment preferred.
• Strong consultative sales, relationship-building and product knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Initiates daily contacts to build relationships with targeted business partners.
• Develops strategic partnerships to meet territory performance requirements.
• Evaluates viability of business partners and advises on appropriate strategies.
• Provides illustrations, proposals and product information to partners.
• Offers financial expertise and practice management advice to partners.
• Supports campaigns and advises on sales ideas and solutions.
• Collaborates with external sales to grow the business.
• Travels to cover open external wholesaler territory for meetings/events.
• Mentors and trains newer regional internal associates.
