City of New York’s DCAS portfolio role focuses on design and project management for real estate spaces. You will develop space plans, produce construction drawings, and coordinate furniture packages for leased and City-owned spaces.

Responsibilities include pre-design analysis, schematic development, and inter-unit collaboration to ensure viable, compliant, and aesthetically aligned spaces. This role supports a broad City portfolio and requires strong AutoCAD and ARCHIBUS skills.

Competenze

• Bachelor degree or higher with 5+ years of space planning, design, and project management experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD drawing sets and construction documentation.
• Strong knowledge of space standards, furniture coordination, and office interiors.

Mansioni

• Pre-Design, Programming and Planning: assess space needs, develop P&Es, apply space standards, liaise with agencies.
• Design and Documentation: create schematic drawings, develop design concepts, prepare documentation for approvals.
• Furniture Design, Coordination and Procurement: plan furniture packages, review quotes, manage orders and deliveries.
• Portfolio Management: update architectural floor plans, coordinate with RES units and external vendors.
• Intra-Unit Support: collaborate across teams, support project handoffs and maintain organized materials.
