Job summary

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of the basic principles of individual and group behavior.
• Working knowledge of research and observation techniques for recording, classifying, and interpreting factual information.
• Working knowledge of the techniques and methods of interviewing.
• Ability to gather and analyze data; reason logically, draw valid conclusions and make appropriate recommendations.
• Ability to participate in and contribute to group meetings, conferences and interviews; clearly express ideas and write concise reports.
• Commitment to maintaining a welcoming and inclusive work environment with diverse colleagues and constituents.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and advisor to students; support staff and student assistants.
• Deliver integrated support services and programming to improve students’ academic success, leadership, professional development, retention, and enrichment of student experience.
• Support staff who design and deliver programs for graduate and/or undergraduate students to promote student excellence through events and committees.
