Job summary
Northern Virginia Community College (NOVA) invites applications for qualified individuals to join its faculty in Practical Nursing, Nurse Aide, and Medication Aide programs. The position is full-time, with a starting salary within the $90,000–$120,000 range and may be eligible for telework after state probation.
The selected candidate will deliver instruction across campus, lab, online, and clinical settings; participate in curriculum development, accreditation, and partnerships with healthcare
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years teaching in a nursing program.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited institution.
- Active Virginia registered nurse license with no restrictions.
- Minimum 2 years of full-time direct clinical nursing experience.
- Demonstrated clinical competence across populations and settings.
- Knowledge of Virginia Board of Nursing requirements for nursing programs.
Responsibilities
- Deliver instruction across lecture, online modalities, skills laboratory, and clinical settings.
- Collaborate on curriculum development and program improvement.
- Maintain scheduled office hours and advise students.
- Coordinate with clinical partners to expand learning opportunities.
- Support accreditation and regulatory compliance activities.
