Onco360 Pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacy Prior Authorization Specialist in Salt Lake City, Utah. This full-time role involves managing prior authorizations for therapies, collaborating with care teams, and ensuring compliant handling of patient information.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year in pharmacy or prior authorizations, knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid, and strong communication and organizational skills. A Utah-licensed candidate may work remotely; on-site support is available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of pharmacy or prior authorization experience.
• Registration with Board of Pharmacy as required by state law.
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and commercial insurance claims.

Responsabilités

• Manage prior authorization requests and appeals with insurance carriers.
• Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and other departments.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance while handling patient information.
• Maintain accurate documentation of authorization details.
• Proactively monitor and renew expiring authorizations.
