The Naval District Washington (NDW) seeks a qualified Nonmedical Clinical Counselor to provide counseling to individuals, couples, families, and groups. The role includes referrals, short-term therapy, risk assessment, crisis intervention, and coordination with military leadership and family services at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, DC.

Employment is permanent full-time within the FFSC context, with telework eligibility per agency policy.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a clinical field and state licensure to provide services.
• Two years (2000+ hours) post-master supervised clinical experience.
• Experience assisting victims of domestic abuse or sexual assault.
• Knowledge of FFSP and military lifestyle to tailor treatment.

Responsabilités

• Receive and assess referrals for individuals, couples, families and groups.
• Provide short-term, solution-focused NMC counseling using evidence-based therapies.
• Develop and execute short-term treatment plans for clients.
• Assess and triage risk, coordinating with providers and commands.
• Initiate, coordinate and facilitate group treatment programs for families.
• Conduct quarterly QA reviews to ensure safety and quality of services.
