Job summary

HealthMark Group is seeking an entry-level Onsite Medical Records Processing Specialist in Mayfield, KY. This role can primarily work remotely but requires onsite coverage as needed; includes a $1,000 sign-on bonus paid after 180 days.

You will handle ROI requests, maintain 100% ROI accuracy, and ensure timely processing; strong attention to confidentiality and HIPAA compliance is essential for this fast-growing health IT provider.

Responsibilities

• Complete all incoming ROI requests in a timely and efficient manner.
• Maintain 100% ROI accuracy.
• Complete all STATs within an hour and 24-hour turnaround for other ROI requests.
• Keep all queues current.
• Validate requests and authorize release of PHI per procedures.
• Perform quality checks for accuracy, confidentiality, and invoicing.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of PHI during transport, storage, and disposal.
• Complete legal affidavits and questions as needed.
• Regularly scan ROI requests into chart.
• Abide by ROI policy for HealthMark and client.
• Maintain neat, professional appearance and dress code.
• Keep work area clean and orderly; store records properly.
• Maintain and update facility guide as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service; be attentive and respectful.
• Follow through on promises; de-escalate PT complaints when needed.
• Communicate effectively with customers.
• Aim for maximum customer satisfaction.
• Assist clients and requestors with ROI status via phone.
