IMEG Corp in Boston, MA is seeking a Project Landscape Designer I to support design and technical efforts for a variety of project types, collaborating with senior landscape designers.

The role involves creating exhibits, concept sketches, planting and site plans, coordination with architects and engineers, and preparation of construction documents. Hybrid work options apply, with limited travel within MA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture or related field; 3 years of relevant land development experience.
• ISA Arborist certification or ISA Tree Risk Assessment qualification with 3 years in land development.

Responsibilities

• Create exhibits, presentation graphics and renderings.
• Develop landscape concept and schematic designs with cost estimates and materials plans.
• Perform site visits, tree assessments and prepare planting plans.
• Review tree preservation plans and assist with construction docs.
• Assist with cost estimating, take-offs, and landscape code research.
• Attend client meetings, take notes, and prepare materials for review.
• Package deliverables with CAD site plans, details and grading; coordinate with architects/engineers.
• Mentor junior staff and act as project manager on smaller projects.
