Job summary

Qualifications

• Mechanical/ electrical engineering background with hands-on repair experience.
• Experience with gas engine generator sets and safety standards is preferred.
• Ability to diagnose complex equipment faults using systematic methods.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation and maintenance of gas internal combustion engine generator sets, ensuring safety and performance standards are met.
• Conduct equipment inspection including visual checks of casing, labels, and connections to prevent leaks or mislabeling.
• Monitor performance parameters in real-time using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and pressure sensors, and compare against normal ranges.
• Analyze operation data like runtime and fault logs to predict faults and recommend corrective actions.
• Diagnose faults using fault tree analysis and identify root causes across mechanical, electrical, and gas systems.
• Repair or replace mechanical components (crankshaft, pistons, bearings), cooling system parts, electrical wiring, and gas system components.
• Perform preventive maintenance: cleaning, lubrication, and software/parameter updates for reliability.
• Provide field service and clear communication with customers, including repair plans and cost estimates.
