Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in behavioral health/science, psychology, public administration, public health, criminal justice, business or health care administration, or a closely related field.
  • 5 years executive leadership experience leading an organization that supports complex behavioral health, forensic services, secure treatment, or corrections.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee deinstitutionalization and community reintegration while maintaining public safety.
  • Provide strategic leadership for MSOP's clinical, operational, fiscal and administrative functions.
  • Develop MSOP’s biennial operational budget and monitor expenditures within appropriations.
  • Oversee clinical programming for research-based treatment, rehabilitation, and medical services.
  • Lead MSOP’s secured facilities to ensure safety and a therapeutic environment.
  • Serve as MSOP liaison with DCT, legislature, judiciary, and the public.
