Job summary

Nintendo of America in Redmond, WA, seeks a skilled infrastructure engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable Linux server applications across on‑prem and cloud environments. You will partner with product teams to guide infrastructure, implement IaC with Puppet, CloudFormation, Terraform, and CDK, and optimize CI/CD pipelines while ensuring high availability.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Two years of experience in software development and in deploying/managing AWS cloud resources.
• Experience with IaC using CloudFormation and Terraform.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, C#, and JavaScript, plus CI/CD and Visual Studio.
• Familiarity with build, test, and deployment processes and agile practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain Linux server applications across on‑prem and cloud environments.
• Partner with development teams to provide infrastructure guidance and support.
• Develop automation to improve CI/CD processes and developer efficiency.
• Own KPIs related to reliability, resiliency, durability, and uptime, and define SLOs.
• Lead requirements gathering, test plans, quality reviews, and issue resolution.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system and application challenges.
• Implement and manage IaC using Puppet, CloudFormation, Terraform, and CDK.
• Leverage AWS container services (EKS, ECS) to support infrastructure needs.
• Participate in a 24/7 on‑call rotation.
