Bernalillo County is seeking a Deputy Director of Housing Development to lead the BernCo Builds Communities pipeline, from site selection through financing and completion. The role coordinates milestones, secures credits, and serves as the main contact for private developers to align with housing objectives.

The position oversees regulatory processes, collaborates with internal and external partners, and reports to senior leadership.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Ten (10) years of work experience involving operational management.
• Four (4) years in a managerial role.
• Any equivalent combination of related education and/or experience may be considered.

Responsabilidades

• Lead affordable and mixed-income housing development projects from inception to completion.
• Support formation and management of public-private partnerships and joint ventures.
• Identify funding sources; assist with applications, submissions, and compliance.
• Conduct financial analysis to evaluate project feasibility, performance, and investment options.
• Provide strategic analysis and recommendations to senior leadership.
