Job summary

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is seeking a County ID Program Specialist 1 for Westmoreland County MH/ID to administer, plan, coordinate and monitor the Intellectual Disabilities/Autism program under program leadership.

You will support employment initiatives, manage participant-directed services, and coordinate eligibility processing while collaborating with SCOs, providers, and community agencies to achieve program goals. Telework may be available part-time after probation and with approval.

Qualifications

• Two years of professional experience in the field of intellectual disabilities, and a bachelor's degree; or an equivalent combination of experience and training.

Responsibilities

• Program Coordination: Manage participant directed services and ensure all documentation follows required guidelines.
• Employment Support: Lead employment initiatives, guide stakeholders, and assist youth transitioning from school to work.
• Quality Oversight: Conduct reviews, monitor data, and support quality management activities across assigned programs.
• Eligibility Processing: Review Medicaid Waiver eligibility, submit required documents, and coordinate changes with the County Assistance Office.
• Incident Review: Evaluate incident reports within required timeframes, complete investigations, and provide technical assistance to providers.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Build relationships with SCOs, providers, and community agencies to support program goals.
