Job summary

State of Georgia is seeking a Child Welfare Services Case Manager 1 (CRRU) in Statesboro, GA to perform investigations and comprehensive case management for child/adult abuse or neglect. You will implement safety plans and partner with families to achieve permanency and well-being.

Under supervision, you will learn SBC methodology, document activities, and collaborate with community partners while utilizing a private vehicle for travel and potential after-hours on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.

Responsibilities

• Initiates timely, face-to-face responses to screened-in reports of alleged child maltreatment.
• Develops and implements safety plans addressing identified concerns.
• Collaborates with community partners to create systems of support for children and families.
• Ensures visits with children and families promote safety, permanence, and well-being.
