New American Funding is seeking a Home Retention Outreach Specialist (Billingual Spanish Required) to manage early-stage delinquency and borrower outreach. The role emphasizes outbound dialing, payment collection, and short-term retention strategies to resolve past-due mortgage payments.

The position requires bilingual English/Spanish skills, MSP experience, and knowledge of mortgage regulations. Training will begin with a different schedule; onsite work is required near Austin, TX or Santa Ana,

Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Spanish required.
• MSP software experience with at least 1 year.
• Knowledge of mortgage servicing terminology and practices.
• Ability to work a schedule including some Saturdays; 12pm-9pm CST.
• Able to handle high-volume inbound/outbound calls with tact under pressure.

Responsabilités

• Conduct outbound borrower outreach and handle inbound calls regarding delinquent mortgage accounts.
• Review payment history, discuss past-due balances and assess ability to pay.
• Request and process borrower payments per procedures.
• Document payment commitments and next steps in servicing systems.
• Explain short-term home-retention options and repayment arrangements.
• Identify borrowers needing additional workout assistance and refer as needed.
• Verify caller identity and protect confidential borrower information.
