Job summary

Rockwell Automation seeks an experienced advanced process control engineer to join our data science consulting team globally. You will assess processes, develop predictive models, and configure online applications to optimize quality, capacity, and energy usage.

Travel up to 50% (1–2 week trips) is required, with occasional international projects. You will drive end-to-end implementations from design through commissioning, including hardware installation and system integration while maintaining

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; chemical engineering or related field preferred.
• 8+ years of experience as a process or control engineer in manufacturing.
• 5+ years implementing model predictive control applications.
• Experience with instrumentation, industrial control systems and supervisory control applications.
• Experience developing business cases for advanced process control or analytics.
• Experience with Rockwell Automation products.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time; occasional international trips.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical project activities including design, system integration, data analysis and modeling, and site installation.
• Provide product, engineering, and application support to customers and document findings.
• Identify change orders and new opportunities within client projects.
• Support market development activities for industrial data science and participate in commercial projects.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and per scope.
