Job summary

Rockwell Automation seeks an experienced advanced process control engineer to join our team delivering online analytics and model predictive control applications that optimize manufacturing processes. You will assess customer processes, develop models, and configure applications that calculate setpoints to improve quality, capacity and energy use.

This role requires up to 50% travel, including occasional international projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering; experience in chemical/process industries.
• 8+ years as process/control engineer in manufacturing.
• 5+ years implementing model predictive control.
• Experience with instrumentation, industrial control systems, and SCADA/HMI.

Responsibilities

• Design, system integration and installation of control solutions.
• Analyze data and model processes for predictive control.
• Configure online applications to calculate setpoints.
• Support hardware installation and system integration.
• Travel up to 50% (international trips likely).
