Job summary

Pannos Marketing Inc. in Manchester, NH is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to help keep our financial operations running smoothly.

You will manage day-to-day accounting activities and maintain accurate records in a fast-paced agency environment. Responsibilities include month-end close support, budgeting, forecasting, journal entries, accounts payable/receivable, cash flow monitoring, and GAAP compliance.

Qualifications

• An associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Previous experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or a related financial role.
• Strong understanding of core accounting principles.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with HubSpot and Function Point is a plus.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication with vendors and clients.
• A high level of integrity and discretion when handling confidential financial information.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations.
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and balance sheet accounts.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Manage billing, payments, and receipts.
• Prepare journal entries and supporting documentation.
• Monitor cash flow and assist with cash management.
• Communicate with vendors and clients to resolve payment questions or discrepancies.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Provide financial data and analysis as needed.
• Help ensure GAAP compliance and internal accounting policies.
• Gather and provide documentation requested by external auditors.
• Maintain organized digital and paper financial records.
• Identify and recommend improvements to accounting processes.
• Help implement changes that increase accuracy and efficiency.
• Perform additional accounting and finance responsibilities as assigned.
• Front desk coverage as needed when the Office Administrator is unavailable.
