North American Partners in Anesthesia is seeking a Rejections and Denials Specialist in the United States to manage denied eligibility claims across payers and states. You will work in multiple queues, contact payers by phone or online, and update accounts as needed.

The role requires knowledge of anesthesia modifiers, procedure and diagnostic codes, strong problem solving, and the ability to train staff. A high school diploma and several years of eligibility/denials experience are expected.

Qualifications

• 3+ years eligibility/denials experience.
• Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid guidelines.
• Experience in medical billing or anesthesia setting preferred.

Responsabilités

• Analyzes patient insurance to identify the correct insurance plan(s) and documents steps to ensure accurate processing.
• Identifies billing and charge correction errors; contacts payers or patients to obtain information.
• Follow department directions, TIP sheets, procedure manuals, and policies.
• Evaluate eligibility payor setup and assist in optimizing efficiency of the team.
• Assist with training and educating new staff members.
