Highpoint Virtual Academy of Michigan (HVAM), a Stride K12 partner school, seeks an Elementary PE Teacher for online instruction. You will deliver engaging content, monitor progress in the Stride LMS, and work with families to support student goals from a home office.

Occasional travel for testing and events is required. Requires Michigan residency, Michigan teaching certification, and ability to complete a background check.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Active state teaching license is required.
• Ability to clear required background check is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide engaging synchronous and asynchronous learning experiences for online students.
• Differentiate instruction based on student mastery and needs.
• Maintain accurate grade books and communicate with learning coaches/parents.
• Prepare students for high-stakes standardized tests.
• Travel about 20% for face-to-face training and events.
