Whom We Are Looking For

Think Academy U.S. seeks Remote Higher Elementary Math Teachers to work with G3 to G5 students in Pre-Algebra to Pre-Calculus. Teachers should understand math concepts, prepare classes based on Think Academy's curriculum, deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons, explain concepts, demonstrate problem-solving techniques, and utilize various teaching methods to meet diverse student needs.

What You Will Do

1. Teach higher elementary level mathematics virtually through the Think Academy Teaching Platform.
2. Actively engage and manage an online classroom of up to 18 students.
3. Prepare and deliver lessons using Think Academy's curriculum and guidance.
4. Grade homework and provide other essential teaching services.
5. Communicate effectively with students and parents, offering timely and personalized feedback.
6. Typically work 30+ hours per week, mainly during weekends or weekday afternoons.

How You Can Be Qualified

• Bachelor’s degree or higher; all majors are welcome; Education or STEM majors preferred.
• You may still apply if you are pursuing or in the process of obtaining a Bachelor's degree.
• Prior math teaching experience is not required but a plus.
• Math competition experience is a plus.
• Available and willing to work during weekday evenings and weekends.
• Passionate about teaching and education, responsible, and love working with kids.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay Structure

• Teaching Fee: $30/hour; 4-7 classes per week.
• Non-Teaching Fee: $16-21/hour; includes class prep, grading, and parent communication.
• Bonus: 15% Target Performance Bonus.
