Job summary

AuraOne is seeking a Software Engineer (Electron.js) reviewer to remotely evaluate production code, debug traces, and AI outputs for real-world correctness. You will reproduce failures, write unit tests, and explain fixes to help the modeling team target gaps.

You will grade solutions, write concise notes for senior engineers, and document recurring failures to improve model reviews. This is a contract, remote-friendly role requiring reliable weekly hours.

Qualifications

• Strong day-job engineering experience reading, running, and debugging unfamiliar Electron.js code.
• Ability to write concise unit tests that capture a single failure mode.
• Familiarity with a testing framework (pytest, Jest, or JUnit).
• Clear written reasoning that convinces a senior engineer.

Responsibilities

• Run and reproduce candidate code outputs in a sandboxed environment for Electron.js assignments.
• Grade software engineer review solutions for correctness, style, and edge-case handling.
• Write minimal failing tests demonstrating bugs or edge cases.
• Compare paired solutions and rank them with a rubric-based rationale.
• Tag failure modes with severity scores and document recurring failures.
