Job summary

Voltedge, a US-based electrical contracting business, seeks an experienced Electrical Estimator to review drawings, interpret specifications and prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial projects. This fully remote role supports our growth while coordinating with the US-based owner.

You will calculate material quantities, labour costs and pricing, perform take-offs, and maintain organized estimating spreadsheets.

Qualifications

• Hands-on electrical Estimator experience and strong exposure to electrical projects.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and architectural drawings.
• Understanding of materials, installation methods and cost breakdowns.
• Experience with material quantity take-offs and labour costing.
• Excellent numerical, analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings and specifications to identify electrical installation requirements.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial electrical and rehabilitation projects.
• Calculate quantities, labour requirements and project costs.
• Maintain organised estimating spreadsheets and supporting documentation.
• Communicate estimates, assumptions and pricing with the business owner.
