Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years Electrical Estimator or Field Engineer experience.
• Experience in industrial oilfield estimating preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor cost estimates for projects.
• Review drawings, specifications, proposals, and other technical documentation to develop bids and project plans.
• Plan, schedule, coordinate, and monitor engineering and construction activities to ensure successful project execution.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, forecasts, change orders, and engineering deliverables.
• Track project costs, analyze variances, and recommend improvements.
• Interface with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Assist with proposal development, project reporting, invoice review, and contract administration.
• Ensure compliance with codes, standards, safety, and company policies.
• Maintain estimating databases and historical cost information.
• Participate in client and contractor meetings and provide status updates.
• Support cost reduction initiatives and profitability improvements.
