Job summary

Wilson Engineers, an Arizona-based consulting firm, seeks an Electrical Engineer (PE) to join the Tempe office, with remote work option. The role focuses on water and wastewater electrical systems, safety codes, and project leadership across design and construction phases.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in EI&C for water/wastewater, a PE license (AZ preferred), and strong AutoCAD/SKM skills. This full-time position offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from an accredited program.
• PE license required – preferably in Arizona.
• Minimum 3 years electrical and industrial controls experience in Water/Wastewater.
• Experience producing EI&C drawing packages in AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Design low and medium voltage power distribution systems and create SLDs.
• Prepare panel schedules, power/lighting plans, and control schematics.
• Perform electrical calculations: voltage drop, fault current, sizing.
• Review RFI, shop drawings, field inspection, start-up and commissioning.
• Lead power system studies and arc flash analyses.
