Job summary

Munters is seeking an Electrical & Controls Engineer to design, test, and improve custom HVAC and data center cooling solutions. The role spans controls programming, electrical schematics, and field support, with travel up to 50%.

Remote work options available in the US with future international travel potential. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in engineering, 5–8 years in data center or HVAC controls, and strong DDC/PLC and AutoCAD Electrical skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5–8 years of experience in data center or HVAC controls.
• Advanced experience programming DDC/PLC controllers.
• Advanced knowledge of ALC Web CTRL.
• Experience with AutoCAD Electrical.
• Ability to design and troubleshoot low-voltage control systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead controls layout, design, programming, and testing for HVAC and air-handling systems.
• Develop and troubleshoot DDC/PLC control programs and loops.
• Design electrical schematics, controls layouts, and parts lists for custom equipment.
• Support R&D prototype testing in Texas and Virginia labs.
• Train Controls Technicians on controls programming, troubleshooting, and system operation.
• Travel up to 50% to support customers and field activities.
