Job summary

Munters is a global leader in climate solutions. We are seeking an Electrical & Controls Engineer to join our R&D Service Engineering team and help design, test, and improve custom HVAC and data center cooling solutions.

You’ll lead controls layout, programming, and testing for complex systems, develop DDC/PLC programs, create electrical schematics and parts lists, and support field activities in the US with up to 50% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5–8 years of experience in data center controls, HVAC controls, electrical systems, or related engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead controls layout, design, programming, and testing for complex HVAC and air-handling systems.
• Develop and troubleshoot DDC/PLC controls programs and control loops.
• Design electrical schematics, controls layouts, and parts lists for custom equipment.
• Research and implement controls technologies including sensors, actuators, VFDs, and communication networks.
• Travel up to 50% to support customers, projects, testing, and field activities.
