Job summary

gpac is seeking an Electrical BIM Coordinator for 100% remote work to support commercial and industrial electrical construction projects. You will develop and coordinate BIM models, review drawings, and resolve clashes to keep projects on schedule.

Ideal candidates have strong proficiency in Revit and Navisworks, can read electrical drawings, and communicate effectively with remote project teams and stakeholders. This role offers long-term growth with a established electrical contractor.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical BIM coordination within the electrical construction industry.
• Proficiency with Revit and Navisworks.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and construction documents.
• Understanding of commercial and industrial electrical systems.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with remote project teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and coordinate electrical BIM models for commercial and industrial construction projects.
• Perform clash detection and resolve conflicts with other building systems.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, general contractors, and other trades.
• Review construction drawings, specifications, and electrical layouts for accuracy.
• Produce coordinated drawings, shop drawings, and installation details.
• Identify potential field conflicts and communicate solutions before installation.
• Maintain model accuracy and ensure deliverables meet project requirements.
• Support project teams throughout preconstruction and construction.
