Job summary

The Office of Mental Health in Albany, NY, seeks a Project Coordinator to lead collaboration with hospital-based staff on all phases of an Electronic Health Record implementation, including readiness, requirements, configuration, training, testing, and rollout.

Responsibilities include collecting requirements, coordinating end-user onboarding, documenting results, and providing post-implementation support while partnering with clinical and administrative teams to meet project goals.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree AND four years of specialized experience, OR an associate degree AND six years, OR eight years of specialized work experience.
• Specialized experience includes Application Development, Business System Analysis, IT Project Management, Database Management, Contract and Procurement Management, Information Security Management, Vendor Management and/or Customer Relations in an IT environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with hospital staff to understand needs for the EHR implementation across readiness assessment, configuration, and rollout.
• Coordinate testing, training materials, user onboarding, and post-implementation support.
• Monitor progress, report KPIs, and coordinate with technical teams for system integration.
