Job summary

Syms Strategic Group, LLC (SSG) seeks an Edifecs Platform Operations Lead for a 100% remote role in the United States. The position requires 10+ years in EDI/healthcare or enterprise apps with strong Edifecs and AWS expertise, and a Public Trust (MBI) clearance.

You will lead the Edifecs platform, oversee architecture decisions, and coordinate with product, architecture, vendor, and business teams to ensure stability, scalability, and compliance. A Master’s degree is required, and U.S.

Qualifications

• Extensive Edifecs platform experience.
• Strong AWS cloud experience and architecture knowledge.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Hands-on understanding of Edifecs components and platform architecture.

Responsibilities

• Lead Edifecs Platform Operations, ensuring stability, scalability, and compliance.
• Provide technical oversight, staffing, and roadmap execution.
• Collaborate with product, architecture, vendor, and business teams.
• Guide architecture decisions, modernization, and cloud scalability.
• Configure and maintain XEServer, XEngine, TPMs, and related modules.
• Guide EDI Analysts in building and optimizing Edifecs processing rules and workflows.
• Analyze and resolve mapping issues and performance bottlenecks.
• Manage JVM tuning, logging, and certificate configurations.
• Support deployments, releases, and environment refreshes.
• Collaborate with EDI Analysts, DevSecOps, Cloud teams, and business teams.
