Job summary
Veterans EZ Info Inc is seeking a Technical EDI SME for a 100% remote role, supporting VA healthcare modernization. You will design and implement integration strategies using ANSI X12, manage EDI maps for 835/837/277CA, and coordinate with trading partners to ensure secure data exchange.
The position requires deep EDI expertise, healthcare industry experience, and the ability to work in an Agile DevSecOps environment with VA stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and 8+ years of healthcare integration experience.
- Deep expertise in healthcare EDI standards and transaction workflows (e.g., 835, 837, 277CA).
- Strong understanding of integration architectures, EDI mapping/translation tools, APIs, and secure file transfer.
Responsibilities
- Assess system readiness and define integration strategies connecting VA FWA with CCDSO, CCRS, and other VA systems.
- Build, configure, maintain, and enhance EDI maps and workflows for 835, 837, and 277CA.
- Implement trading partner setups, validate connectivity, formats, and compliance with partners.
- Monitor EDI operations, troubleshoot production issues, and perform root-cause analysis.
