Job summary

Timeline is seeking an Ecommerce Analyst to join our analytics team. You will own web analytics instrumentation, ensure data quality, and empower cross-functional partners with fast, reliable insights. The role emphasizes AI-enabled automation and cross-channel reporting across DTC and Amazon.

Preference for candidates in Eastern/Central time zones, fully remote with home office stipend, and a salary range of $95,000–$120,000 with equity and benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in ecommerce analytics or related field.
• Strong knowledge of GA4, GTM, and pixel tagging.
• SQL skills for ad hoc queries; experience with data warehouses (Snowflake).
• Interest in AI tools and MCP-style integrations.

Responsibilities

• Own web analytics instrumentation end-to-end — tagging setup, event tracking, and data quality triage.
• Build and maintain custom metrics and dimensions per business definitions.
• Produce weekly/monthly stakeholder updates and support multi-channel reporting including DTC and Amazon.
• Assist with attribution work (MTA/MMM) and data prep for model inputs.
• Automate recurring reporting tasks using lightweight tools and AI workflows.
• Provide analytics support for program-specific requests from marketing teams.
