Job summary

Parexel is seeking an Early Clinical Scientist to lead or support early phase studies, ensuring scientific execution of the protocol and data integrity. The ECS collaborates with clinical directors and cross-functional teams to deliver study objectives within accelerated timelines.

Responsibilities include oversight of trial design and execution, risk assessment, site monitoring and co-authorship of key study documents.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing CROs from the Sponsor side for Phase 1 clinical trials.
• Use of Clinical Trial Management and Trial Master File systems.
• Authoring Protocol Concepts.
• Facilitating a Trial Team with cross-functional partners (regulatory, data managers, statisticians, etc).
• Knowledge of GCP, ICH guidelines and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the design, planning and execution of early phase clinical trials in collaboration with the Clinical Director and team members.
• Oversee trials within and across programs to ensure excellence in execution and data validity.
• Manage trial and program projects including team activities and performance.
• Conduct real-time oversight to identify and mitigate issues in study design or conduct.
• Co-author clinical sections of protocols, investigator brochures, CSR and ensure documents meet standards.
