Ledgebrook is a tech-enabled E&S MGA redefining how casualty underwriting is done. We’re looking for a General Liability underwriter in the Southeast who wants to move fast, cut friction, and win business the right way.

In this broker-facing, production-driven role you’ll underwrite new business and renewals, trade with wholesale brokers, and drive pricing, risk selection, and loss ratio management with autonomy and support from a fast-moving platform.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience underwriting E&S Casualty / General Liability.
• Experience working with admitted and non-admitted paper.
• Established wholesale broker relationships in the South East.
• Strong understanding of pricing, risk selection, and loss ratio management.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a high-performing team.

Responsibilities

• Trade actively with wholesale brokers
• Drive submission flow within appetite
• Underwrite both new business and renewals
• Make fast, informed decisions on pricing and risk selection
• Help shape portfolio strategy through data and insight
• Build a profitable, sustainable E&S book of business
