Job summary

Mercor is seeking a Music Production Expert for Dutch-language work delivered remotely. You will evaluate AI-generated music, assess vocal and mix quality, and tag tracks by genre and instrumentation. Native Dutch plus strong English instruction are required. Start immediately; contract up to 6 months with 20+ hours per week.

Work independently and asynchronously to help improve AI model performance while meeting deadlines in a remote setup with a San Francisco-based team.

Qualifications

• Must be native or near-native in Dutch.
• Ability to follow detailed written instructions in English.
• 2+ years of experience as a music producer, audio engineer, or mixing engineer.
• Headphones or studio monitors suitable for critical listening.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-generated music across genres for musicality, creativity, and production quality.
• Compare songs head-to-head on prompt adherence, vocal quality, and mix quality.
• Label songs by genre, structure, instruments, vocals, and other musical characteristics.
• Review AI-generated lyrics and vocals against reference material for quality and accuracy.
• Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while improving AI model performance.
