Pharmacy Careers is seeking a Remote DUR Pharmacist to analyze medication use, apply guidelines, and collaborate with providers from home. This role allows clinical analysis at scale while contributing to safer, cost-effective drug therapy.

You’ll review drug utilization, support formulary decisions, and document assessments. Eligible candidates hold a PharmD or PharmD-equivalent, with experience in managed care or PBM preferred, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• PharmD or Bachelor of Pharmacy required.
• Managed care, PBM, or health-plan experience preferred.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct prospective, concurrent, and retrospective drug utilization reviews.
• Evaluate prescribing patterns against guidelines and formulary criteria.
• Identify potential drug interactions and inappropriate therapy; propose optimized regimens.
• Prepare recommendations for prescribers to improve safety and cost-effectiveness.
• Document reviews to ensure compliance with state, federal, and plan requirements.
• Contribute to quality-improvement initiatives and pharmacy program development.
