Job summary

Skyports Limited in the USA is seeking a Remote Pilot, VLOS to join our Flight Operations team. This hands-on role focuses on safe, planned VLOS flights with pre‑defined missions, daily checks, and meticulous logging.

The position is full-time and based in Omaha or Columbus, with travel to customer sites as needed. You will operate under established SOPs, maintain safety standards, and contribute to the ongoing development of our drone services and infrastructure initiatives.

Qualifications

• Must hold FAA Part 107 certificate.
• Strong understanding of aviation basics and VLOS procedures.
• Able to follow structured SOPs and risk assessments.
• Willingness to travel between customer sites.
• Experience with DJI or Quantum Systems preferred.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Operate VLOS flights following SOPs and pre‑planned mission workflows.
• Complete daily pre‑flight checks, aircraft inspections, and equipment setup.
• Monitor the aircraft in flight and maintain situational awareness.
• Follow ConOps, risk assessments, and local permissions.
• Conduct post-flight steps, battery management, logging, and equipment care.
• Maintain aircraft serviceability and quarantine unserviceable equipment.
• Keep competency, currency, and engineering authorisations at the correct level.
• Record flights accurately in Alaris/Centrik.
• Support ROCs, ground tasks, and set‑ups where required.
• Represent Skyports professionally on customer sites.
