Job summary

U.S. Xpress, Inc. is seeking a Driver Recruiter to manage sourcing, interviewing, and hiring of drivers nationwide. You will review driving records and background checks, extend offers, and promote USX programs.

The role requires 2+ years in a call center or related field, strong communication, and MS Office skills. Remote work options are available with collaboration in-office as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Equivalent years of experience defined as one year of professional experience for each year of college requested.
• 2+ years of experience in a call center environment, inside sales, or related fields.
• Transportation/Logistics knowledge preferred.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Own the driver recruitment process from sourcing through closing.
• Review MVR, DAC, and criminal background checks.
• Extend offers to qualified applicants.
• Maintain knowledge of compensation offerings and salary structures.
• Partner with leadership to manage driver expectations and recruiting issues.
• Enter driver information in TenStreet and Pegasus systems.
• Promote USX programs in recruiting and postings.
• Communicate USX mission and culture to candidates.
• Attend meetings/trainings and contribute ideas.
