Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Ohio (BGCNEO) is seeking a Development Officer to join our Advancement Team. The Development Officer manages a portfolio of donors and prospects through identification, cultivation, solicitation, stewardship, and retention to meet fundraising goals.

This full-time, remote role serves the Northeast Ohio region, reports to the Senior Director of Advancement, and offers a competitive benefits package, generous PTO and holidays, flexible scheduling, and opportunities

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, communications, marketing, business, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of fundraising, donor relations, sales, or relationship management experience preferred.
• Ability to travel locally for donor meetings and events.
• Final candidates must clear a background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of up to 150 donors and prospects; meet or exceed revenue and engagement goals.
• Develop strategies to retain, renew, and upgrade donors with targeted stewardship.
• Identify opportunities for planned gifts and multi-year commitments; coordinate with leadership.
