Job summary

Xcelerate Solutions is seeking a Testing Manager to lead testing strategy, automation, and release validation across a DoD ecosystem of 34+ applications in a secure GovCloud environment. You will guide a testing team operating within SAFe Agile, DevSecOps, and AWS GovCloud IL4/5, ensuring high-quality, reliable software releases.

The role requires managing test artifacts, automation scripts, and release readiness with periodic metrics and dashboards for stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Software Quality Assurance, Software Development, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience creating and executing manual and automated tests in CI/CD and DevOps environments.
• Experience testing custom and COTS applications within Agile delivery teams.
• Experience implementing and conducting software test automation using Selenium.
• Experience with CI/CD and DevSecOps tools such as GitLab, Jenkins, Nexus, Ansible, SonarQube.
• Experience with enterprise tools such as Remedy, CLM, and SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Lead testing team in planning, developing, executing, and maintaining manual and automated tests across SAFe iterations and program increments.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and ensure alignment with SAFe and Scrum practices.
• Oversee creation, maintenance, and optimization of automated test suites using Selenium and DevSecOps toolchains.
• Provide test metrics, dashboards, and release readiness documentation to project leads and stakeholders.
• Develop testing strategies for each release, covering functional, non-functional, and integration requirements.
• Collaborate with project leads to manage testing scope, timelines, and quality expectations.
• Support troubleshooting of release issues across CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins, Nexus, Ansible, SonarQube).
• Review and validate the quality of test artifacts, automation scripts, and customer-facing documentation.
• Assist in decomposing epics, features, and user stories into detailed testable requirements.
